I'm really an overgrown teddy bear. I love to dance, read, write, travel, cook, and have great conversations. I do great in jeans and a t-shirt, but I dress up well, too. The most important things in a relationship, for me, are honesty, trust, honesty, communication, and honesty. I am NOT looking for a one night stand. I grew up long ago and am only interested in something long-term. Granted, I want to be best friends with my partner, so that has to come first, but I'm not looking for Miss Right Now.

I'm great with kids and animals, having 2 cats and hoping to have children some day, with the right person. I have never been married and, as the last statement implies, I have no children.

I'm an honest, intelligent, romantic guy who is passionate about life and all that it has to offer. I have a great, albeit weird, sense of humor that can keep you smiling for days on end. Don't get me wrong; I can be serious when the occasion calls for it, but I much prefer to smile and get those around me to join in on the fun.

I'm relatively well traveled, having been to Canada, Mexico, Peru, Japan, and China. I've also been to the deep, dark jungles of New Jersey. (Okay, they weren't so deep or dark, but you get my point.) My next destinations are Italy and Australia, though probably not in the same trip.
I have a very eclectic taste in music, enjoying everything from Bach to Black Sabbath. I don't do rap though.

I'm very close with my family and am very loyal to my friends. I'm a man of my word, so if I tell you I will do something (call, write, cook dinner, ) you can count on me doing it. Chances are I'll do it early, too, since I hate the thought of being late. (God, I sound like Adrian Monk!)

I'm a fan of totally useless trivia and never cease to amaze those around me with the stuff I store in my head. (It's really kind of scary.) I'm a fan of Law & Order SVU, Crossing Jordan, FoxNews, and professional football. (Go Eagles! Well, okay, NEXT year, do something Eagles!)

I'm a West Chester University graduate (Sociology) and also a Penn State graduate (Information Science and Technology.) (I guess I'll be watching the Orange Bowl this year, just for the heck of it, of course.)

My ideal first date would be a casual lunch with coffee/tea that would allow us to really talk and get to know one another. The darn things are like interviews with both of us trying to get a feel for the other to see if we see potential for something to build from there. This being the case, I like to be really comfortable and think you should be comfortable too.
