Its only been 12 years with one man, who I thought I would be with for life. Divorce, unexpected has been final 6 months and we are great finally. First date, ideal... quite enough to talk and to listen, pretty natural setting with enough other people around for safety, casual, have dinner and then do something silly neither is good at like bowling or whatever... if you can laugh at yourself your OK in my book.

Is to rebuild my and my child's life. To live and not just survive this divorce, x's abuse and alcoholism with bonus blackouts. To enjoy every day and laugh as often as possible. We are doing great and happy everyday my daughter and I. I do not need a man to complete me nor I him, but I do prefer a relationship over casual dating. I loved being married and think I was made to be so. I won't settle however same values, key as is fun and friendship before any love connection can be made well. Simple girl simple values. I appreciate a man who knows who he is, & knows his way around a tool box & can & enjoys fixing things (to me its attractive & no I do NOT have a list of items or projects;-), simple but essential values (family, integrity, honest communication, not taking everything TO SERIOUSLY, finding a solution not just pointing out the problems in life, laughter, fun, shared interests, & simple beautiful pleasures in life. Someone with a strong caring character. We are spiritual & Christian family open to all forms of beliefs however, an atheist & our little two person family wouldn't be compatible... Friendship & fun is most important at this juncture in our lives & must be present before any love connection can be made. Anyone in our lives must love children & animals as we have a zoo.
