Imperfect but Nice

Ik beschrijf mezelf als:

I am an executive admin with a high-tech company. I work hard, then leave it at the office to come home to the cats, Keju, Chriscraft, Taz & Tsarina. Four is too many, I know--but having made the commitment to each of them, I'm not backing out now!

Among other hobbies such as stained glass, photography, and reading, I am finally studying in a rather laissez-faire fashion to become a jeweler, which is what I wanted to be when I grew up. My objective, however, is not "fine" jewelry, but costume pieces for those who love fine design without the fine price tags--people like me!

I'm a natural dilettante; I like diving into something and exploring it, then trying something else, which may lead to another sideline which sparks curiosity into another...almost always open to trying something new.

Qualities especially valued in a partner are a cheerful spirit, good humor, a high level of literacy and wit along with decent financial skills and an interest in making things that are useful and beautiful. Qualities I can bring to someone are the ability to listen, the knack of making a home inviting and comfortable, and articulate communication.

I didn't gain my excess weight until my twenties, and under the right circumstances, I suppose I could lose it, but I'm not making any promises. We'll both have to start from where we are now, and see where it goes.
