Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als
Battling through the bits of shyness, but I'm told that I'm a good person and great listener when my friends need the shoulder the lean on.
Life is too short to care about what people think about me. I am who I am and there's nothing that can radically alter that. I'm sure there will be changes in who I am over time, but I will always be a guy with simple tastes and enjoys hanging out with friends. I wear normal and comfortable clothes most of the time, but the dress clothes come out sometimes. Didn't learn how to tie a tie until a few months ago.
I'm a gamer, and I'm into a great deal of history. There's a lot more to learn and if Modern Marvels isn't on, I'm most likely watching the History Channel. Also have a bit of a thing for mythology...the most interest lies in Greek, Norse and Egyptian mythology.
I read quite a bit and I can't help but shake my head when I hear that some people don't like reading at all. I can't even associate myself with those people. There's something irritating about those who look down at the thought of actually reading.
My hobbies include L5R, Stargate SG-1, and Star Wars. Currently putting together outfits for Stargate and Star Wars, with the Jedi outfit being just about perfect for the Episode III premiere...and it was as we entertained some people at the AMC Narrows theater for the midnight showing. Fell on my butt because I saw my friend lift his hand and felt my footing go, so I went down like he did the Force Push on me. So if you were in auditorium 4 and saw that, you know what was going on now.
Ever since I reached voting age, I registered to vote and voted in every election that has popped up since then. It's our duty as citizens to vote and if you don't vote, you don't get to bitch. If more people got off their asses, then we wouldn't be stuck with the tool we have in the White House.
Here's what I'm reading manga wise...
Bleach, Shaman King, Rurouni Kenshin, Hikaru No Go, and Death Note.
