My friends would describe me as down to earth, centered, goal driven, fun, and brutally honest. What drives me crazy are people who lie. I can't stand when someone lies to my face. Honesty is sexy, no matter how brutal. I am most passionate about music. I love to listen to and play music. It is truly the key to my soul. R&B being my favorite type of music you will find me listening to everything from Jazz to Rock to Hip Hop to Alternative to Classical. I am a very down to earth person. I love the arts, poetry, paintings, just everything cultural. At times I like to go out and hang around a lot of people. Other times I just love to chill at home with my candles or incense burning, playing soft music, and reading a good book. I would have to say that I am very outgoing. I love to laugh and enjoy life and I tend to be the life at a party. I am also very independent. I do for self and am continuously growing. A good thing to know about me is that I am very open minded and fair. I always look at both sides of a situation before passing judgment or making decisions. I`m a pleaser. I love to do whatever makes people happy but at the same time I will not be ran over. I can definitely stand my own ground. I love my black brothers and sisters and understand the struggles we go through day to day. However, I will not allow that struggle to bring me down or be the weight that holds me down. I am forever rising and will continue to rise with the strength that was instilled in me that only a Beautiful Black Woman can know.

I just like to laugh and have fun, it doesn't matter what I'm doing. I love music and I love to dance. I also like to draw and write poetry. If I could I would go to poetry readings at a Jazz club somewhere every Friday after work.
