Youthful for my age in both body and spirit, I'm generally fit and live a precarious balance between healthy living and an occasional indulgence. I like most kinds of music, but jazz and blues are special. I live near downtown and enjoy the many advantages of urban life, including live music and good films. I also like to get out of the city now & then, away from the smog and noise. I prefer my exercise outdoors rather than in a smelly gym, whether it's on skis, a road bike or a tennis court. Indoor activities include books and puttering around my elderly condo in a perpetual effort to improve it. I'm a professional in a creative/design/technical field, and work mostly as a teacher.
