Mr. Right shows up at around 7pm to pick me up and shows up with a single rose and a small box of dark Godiva chocolate. He has the entire date planned out, dinner reservations made for 8 pm. He takes me to a quaint Italian restaurant where we take in a nice glass of wine at the bar as we wait for our table. Then we have a delicious dinner while indulgling in more wine and fantastic conversation. Following dinner, he drives me home and walks me to my doorway, leaving me with a soft kiss goodnight. So, that was a little overboard...I actually answered the question with my idea of the perfect first date.
