I lived a fun but hard life only coming to a stop due to visual impairment a few years ago which I've become grateful for.
I live and work at the TLC Dana House and im in the process of trying to get my Peer Support certificate to further work with others and give back since I have found it incredibly fulfilling.
Other than that, I honestly don't have much going on in my life. I've been sober for 2 years now and everything kinda fell into place. I'm comfortable (enough) here at TLC until I get a housing voucher through my clinic. So, im living here rent-free stacking up money, and trying to save for when I get an apartment. It's been hard to save money since there are so many needful situations that have come up here at the Dana House including a few pizza parties.
In all honesty, im not too sure what im looking for. Isn't everyone looking for a happy fulfilling relationship? Weather it be short or long, I just don't want to feel im wasting my time. Although im in no hurry with low expectations, I've wasted enough time.
I'm a really creative person prone to think out of the box first rather than taking a well-worn path and always looking to learn. I've led a dysfunctional life and I'm still rough around the edges at times seeing how I've made to 49 single and never married.
Well, I better shut up now because im really looking forward to going out to dinner or lunch and im not much of a salesman when all I feel like im trying to do is polish a turd.
